Aztec Girls 0 v 1 Kingsthorpe Ladies Has this was the first game of the season Aztec started very slowly and conceded a goal on 7 mins. They started to get back into the game mid way through the first half. The second half was much the same with Aztec trying to get the equalizing goal which would not come. Full time score 1-0 to Kingsthorpe. Aztecs Star Player Ivy Cheung Match Report 26-09-09 Moulton Magpies 2 v 2 Aztec Girls Danielle Pou 2 Aztec girls started the first half very well taking the game to Moulton with Danielle Pou scoring the first goal on 25 minutes. The second half was much the same with Moulton getting a goal back in the 41st minute, then F.C Aztec made an error and Moulton took advantage and also took the lead on 41 minutes. F.C Aztec started to fight back and got the equalising goal on 44 minutes through Danielle Pou. Match Report 11-10-09 Peterborough Ladies 11 v 2 Aztec Girls Sophie Gould 2 Aztec girls started the game slowly. Peterborough took advantage of this by scoring an early goal in the first minute which woke Aztec up and scored through Sophie Gould on 5 minutes then Aztec picked there game up only to concede another goal on seven minutes. Gould then scored again only for Peterborough to score before half time. Half time score 3-2.The second half was all one way traffic from Peterborough with the final score ending 11-2. Aztec Girl of the game was Lily Thorne. Match Report 17-10-09 Aztec Girls 1 v 7 Bedford Ladies Danielle Pou 1 F.C. Aztec started the game slowly but started to come alive mid way through the first half by then Bedford had already scored 3 goals. Aztec did start to play some good football, first half 0-5 to Bedford. The second Aztec took the game to Bedford and played the football we are capable of playing which did result us in getting a goal back on 68 minutes through Dani Pou. The final score 1-7 to Bedford. Match Report 24-10-09 Aztec Girls 1 v 4 Hellenic Fisher Girls Sophie Gould 1 F.C Aztec came up against a very strong Hellenic side today. This resulted in Aztec Girls losing 4-1 Match Report 07-11-09 Kingswood Cougars 1 v 3 Aztec Girls Sophie Gould 2 Danielle Pou 1 F.C Aztec started the game very well and led to a goal on the 3rd minute through Sophie Gould. Kingswood started to play some good football and equalized a few minutes later then Danielle Pou found the back of the net making the half time score 2-1 to Aztec. F.C Aztec Started the second half much the same as the first and after some perseverance Sophie Gould scored from outside the area to make the final score 3-1 to Aztec. Match Report 22-11-09 Peterborough Ladies 6 v 0 Aztec Girls Lge Cup Despite the wet and windy conditions F.C. Aztec played there hearts out with some great defending. Half time score 1-0 to Peterborough. The weather conditions Got worse in the second half and tiredness took its toll on the players. The final score 6-0 to Peterborough Ladies. Match Report 12-12-09 Aztec Girls 1 v 5 Kingswood Cougars Kimberley King 1 Despite F.C. Aztec playing the first half with only nine players they gave an outstanding performance which resulted in getting a goal through Kimberly King. Half time score 1-0. Started the second half with ten players And despite playing some excellent football, fatigue took hold allowing Kingswood to score five goals. Final score 5-1 to Kingswood Cougars. Altogether an outstanding performance from Aztec Girls Match Report 24-01-10 Duston Rovers 5 v 1 Aztec Girls N.T.F.A. Cup Danielle Pou 1 Aztec Girls after losing a lot of players still managed to put up a spirited performance agaist a very good and physical Duston side Match Report 30-01-10 Aztec Girls 0 v 1kettering Town Aztec started the game very well taking the game to Kettering. But Kettering managed to score in the 20 minute through Aztec not clearing there lines. Half time score 0-1. Rest of the match was end to end stuff with some good football from both teams. Final score 0-1 to Kettering. Match Report 06-02-10 Aztec Girls 0 v 9 Peterborough Ladies Aztec started the game very well taking the game to Peterborough but conceded two goals very early in the game. Half time score 5-0 to Peterborough. Second half was much like the first half with some great goal keeping and defending from Aztec and attacking play. But Peterborough Were just too good for Aztec today. Final score 9-0 to Peterborough. Match Report 13-02-10 Bedford Ladies 11 v 1 Aztec Girls Sophie Gould 1 Aztec came up against a well organised Bedford side that played there usual passing football. This enabled them to score 6 goals in the first half however Aztec played some good football which resulted in them getting a goal back, on the volley by Sophie Gould. Second half was much the same with Aztec battling on but Bedford managed to scored a further five goals. Final score 11-1 to Bedford. Match Report 06-03-10 Aztec Girls 8 v 0 Brackley Athletic Leah Davis 3 Sophie Gould 2 Alice Johnson 1 Danielle Pou 1 Erica Williams 1 Aztec played some really good pass and move football today which reflected the score. A hatrick by Leah Davis, two goals by Sophie Gould, and 1 goal each for Alice Johnson, Erica Williams and Danielle Pou sealed the win. All credit to Brackley who kept plugging away and never let their heads go down. Final score 8-0 to F.C.Aztec. Match Report 20-03-10 Aztec Girls 4 v 3 Moulton Sophie Gould 2 Leah Davis 1 Kimberley King 1 Aztec started the game very well with good pass and move football which lead to a goal by Sophie Gould All credit to Moulton they battled back to equalise. Aztec still looked strong with a brilliant pass from Sophie Gould got Leah Davis away to score the second, and make the half time score 2-1 to Aztec. The second half Aztec scored two more early goals from Sophie Gould and Kimberly King But Moulton never gave up and scored from a free kick and looked the stronger team towards the end, a defensive error by Aztec resulted in them scoring again. Good football by both teams. Final score 4-3 to Aztec Girls Match Report 10-04-10 Kettering Town 2 v 3 Aztec Girls Sophie Gould 1 Leah Davis 1 Erica Williams 1 Aztec started the game very well taking the game to Kettering. But Kettering managed to score through Aztec not clearing their lines. But Aztec quickly equalised on 12 minuets through Sophie Gould making the Half time score 1-1. The second half started much the same as the first half with Kettering scoring another early goal but Aztec never gave in and was rewarded with a goal scored by Leah Davis in the 60th minute followed by another goal shortly after scored by Erica Williams. Final score 3-2 to F.C Aztec.
Match Report 17-04-10 Duston Rovers 9 v 1 Aztec Girls Leah Davis 1 Considering F.C Aztec only had Nine players, Aztec started the game very well taking the game to Duston Which got Aztec an early goal through Leah Davis on 10 mins. Duston did come back at Aztec with the equalizer and started to control the game with the half time score 4-1 to Duston. Second half Aztec really played some nice pass and move football and was unlucky not to score a couple of goals. Aztec started to tire which allowed Duston to score another 5 goals. Final score 9-1 to Duston Rovers. Match Report 21-04-10 Kingsthorpe Ladies 3 v 1 Aztec Girls Leah Davis 1 Aztec started the game well with some good football but found themselves 1-0 down at half time. Second half Aztec started the stronger team and got a goal back through Leah Davis; But Kingsthorpe kept coming at Aztec and were rewarded with too more goals. Final score 3-1 to kingsthorpe Match Report 04-05-10 Hellenic Fisher 3 v 3 Aztec Girls Kimberly King 2 Danielle Pou 1 Aztec played some really good pass and move football today the scoring was opened up by Kimberly King 1, on the 2nd minute. Aztec continued to push forward and was rewarded with a second goal scored by Danielle pou on the 10th minute. Hellenic did start to get into the game and start to move the ball around and scored. Half time score 2-1 to Aztec. The second half was end to end football with Hellenic taking there chances and getting two well taken goals, all credit to Aztec they never gave in and got the equalising goal scored by Kimberly King 2, in the final minutes of the game Match Report 06-05-10 Aztec Girls 1 v 5 Duston Rovers Sophie Gould As this was Aztecs last game of the season the girls started off very slowly with Duston scoring two early goals, Aztec just could not get into the game at all in the first half allowing Duston to score a third goal. Half time score 3-0 to Duston. The second half Aztec did start to play some good football but pushed up to far and allowed Duston too score two more goals .Aztec never gave in and were rewarded with a brilliantly taken goal by Sophie Gould on 67th minuet Thanks girls for a great season. |
