The girls got themselves off to a very good start with a good win over Parklands ,both teams played some good football but Aztec Girls just a bit stronger and shaper than Parklands

Bedford Ladies 3 v 0 Aztec Girls

Both teams battled it out from the start and despite some great chances for both Aztec and Bedford it remained goalless in the first half. 2^nd Half and Bedford’s corner crept in the near post to make it 1 – 0. Within a minute of Aztecs kick off Bedford were 2 -0 up with a quick break down the middle. Aztec responded well creating some chances, however Bedford managed to score once again finishing the game 3 – 0.

1^st half saw Aztec create a lot of opportunities to score. Especially from corners taken by Nicole Hadley. However they were unable to score and almost payed the price as a Corby counter-attack saw a 3 on 1 situation that Aztec just managed to clear. 2^nd Half and Aztec substitute Danika Simpson managed to score the only goal in the game ending it 1-0 to Aztec Girls.

 First half saw Aztec dominate the game with a brilliant run from Beth Fennell to cross it in for Emma Harvey. Kettering came out stronger in the second half with two well worked goals. Aztec equalised with a penalty kick, ending the match 2-2.

 The first goal of the game came from a penalty as Parkland scored past Chloe Dawson despite the keeper getting a hand to the ball. Aztec failed to give up though and their efforts were rewarded when Sophie Martin curled a shot past the advancing Parklands keeper. Parklands managed to get one back just before half time. 2^nd half saw Aztec have some good efforts saved by the Parklands keeper. Parklands themselves had some good chances and managed to score 2 more finishing the game 4-1 to Parklands.

Nicole Hadley opened the scoring and managed to get a further 8 in the game giving her 9 goals. Sophie Martin scored 6. Emma Harvey scored 6 and Amy Joyce scored1.

1^st half Chloe Dawson saved a penalty that was awarded to Bedford for a handball. Shortly after Bedford managed to score 3 goals despite Aztec’s best efforts. 2^nd half Aztec were pressing more but could not manage to score Bedford managed to score on the break twice late on finishing the game 5-0

 In the first half both teams were battling well. Parklands opened the scoring with a well worked goal despite Aztec’s efforts. Parklands then added a second shortly after making it 2.0 at half time. Second half Aztec were the better team with a few chances from Sophie Martin just missing the target. Parklands scored just before the finish, to end the game 3.0 to Parklands.

First half saw Aztec score seven goals from Nicole 2, Amy 2, Danika, Sophie and Emma. Volta had a chance of their own resulting in a penalty which they missed. A further 8 goals in the second half from Nicole 4, Sophie 2, and Danika and Emma make the game finish 15.0 to Aztec.

First half both teams battled well Aztec took the lead when Emma Harvey found a way through Earls Barton’s defence and put the ball in the back of the net making it 1-0 to Aztec. Second half Aztec took control of the game and were rewarded with an early goal scored by Sophie Martin. Aztec continued to create a lot of chances which eventually lead to Nicole Hadley scoring Aztec’s third goal. Earls Barton did not give up and scored a fantastic goal making it 3-1. Earls Barton were then awarded a penalty which they scored ending the game 3-2 to Aztec.

First half both teams fought hard. Aztec finally managing to get a shot on target that the Kettering Keeper parried to the left. Emma Harvey followed it up and managed to score making it 1-0 to Aztec. Kettering responded well to this scoring just before half time making it 1-1. 2^nd half and a superb run down the right hand side by Amy Joyce left her one on one with the keeper. She scored making it 2-1. Shortly after this Amy scored again making it 3-1 to Aztec. Aztec’s 4^th goal again came from Amy on the right wing. This time passing the ball for Sophie Martin to tap in ending the game 4-1 to Aztec.

Aztec opened the scoring when Amy crossed it in from the right finding Emma, who controlled the ball and put it in the net. Kettering responded well with 2 quick goals. Aztec continued to push resulting in a goal from Sophie martin. Again Kettering kept pushing, getting another goal just before half time. Second half saw Aztec have the better chances. Nicole Hadley scoring from 30 yards making it 3-3. Followed shortly after by Amy Joyce scoring Aztec’s fourth. Aztec continued to create chances leading to Sophie martin being brought down in the box. Nicole Hadley scored her second goal from the spot ending the game 5-3 to Aztec.

Earls Barton got off to a good start scoring in the first minute to give them a 1-0 lead. Aztec responded well with Sophie Martin scoring from Amy Joyce’s cross. Earls Barton scored again before half time making it 2-1. 2^nd half Aztec was constantly attacking, which resulted in Sophie scoring her second goal. An Earls Barton clearance went straight to Nicole Hadley who’s shot went over the keeper and into the net making it 3-2.  Aztec continued pushing leading to Earls Barton’s keeper dropping the ball. Lydia Ravenscroft scored twice from this making it 5-2. In the final minute Earls Barton managed to break through Aztecs defence scoring a goal making the final score 5-3 to Aztec.

Aztec had 7 players vs Corby’s 9 and the first half saw both teams battle for possession but neither team looked like scoring. 2^nd half Aztec continued to defend well with Emma Harvey making a goal line clearance to keep the score level. Aztec did find the back of the net however it was disallowed as the whistle had already gone for a hand ball just outside the area. The resulting free kick was shot over the goal. Final result 0-0.
