Under 13s                                                         GRAMMARIANS  Yth  3 v 12  Aztec Youth

Daniel Swinden 6  Jack Parker 3 Ryan Richens 3

AZTEC STARTED THE GAME STRONGLY BUT AGAINST THE RUN OF PLAY SOON FOUND THEMSELVES TWO GOALS DOWN. BUT TO THEIR CREDIT THEY BATTLED BACK AND WITH A BIT OF GOOD FORTUNE WERE SOON LEVEL, MAN OF THE MATCH JOSH PLOWRIGHT CONTROLLED THE MIDDLE OF THE PARK AND THE GOALS SOON STARTED TO FLOW, DAN SWINDEN SCORED SIX JACK PARKER ADDED ANOTHER THREE GOALS TO HIS ALREADY IMPRESSIVE GOAL TALLY, AND RYAN RICHENS CHIPPED IN WITH HIS HAT TRICK

Under 13s                                                                Aztec Youth 2 v 12 Wellingborough Town

Josh Plowright 1 Daniel Swinden 1

Aztec took an early lead with a well taken goal from Josh Plowright, and looked the stronger side but Wellingborough were soon level and things went there way after that Aztec had chances to score but didn’t take them, Dan Swinden scored minutes from the end but this was just too little too late.

Under 13s                                                     Finedon Vics 2 v 1 Aztec Youth

Aztec didn’t deserve to lose this game and for most of the game were the better team. They started the game with a stand in keeper after Simon West injured his thumb before the game, but he only lasted 5 minutes before he was also injured. Sam Lee went in goal and gave a man of the match performance. Aztec had chances to score but didn’t take them; nothing seemed to go Aztec’s way and just when things were going well the ref made a few questionable decisions.

Under 13s                                              Aztec Youth 2 v 4 Whitworths Youth

Aztec didn’t deserve to lose this game, they were more than a match for Whitworths until an unfortunate own goal seemed to change the game. Aztec battled hard but just ran out of steam towards the end of the match, Bradley Ledger making his debut for Aztec played well in goalbut was just shaded by Nadeer Hussain for man of the match

Under 13s                                                               Ise Lodge 3 v 0 Aztec Youth

Aztec seem to not be able to score a goal despite some good football from some of the players but all need to pull their weight in all game and not leave it to other players

 Under 13s                                                     Aztec Youth 2 v 4 Finedon Vics

Jack Parker 1 Ryan Richens 1

Aztec seem to let their heads drop as soon as they go a goal behind need to concentrate a lot more as things will be hard again this season for them

Under 13s                                                     Corby Kingswood 5 v 1 Aztec Youth

Josh Plowright 1

Aztec seemed to have lost their way a lot of late and do not seem to be playing well as a unit need to have more concentration and start to believe in themselves. Started off the season well and things have gone downhill from then

Under 13s Lge Cup                                                    Aztec Youth 4 v 3 Whitworths Youth

Josh Plowright 2 Callum Lightfoot 1 Sam Lee 1

FIRST GAME OF FOOTBALL AFTER THE XMAS BREAK, WHAT A GAME TO GET RID OF THE COB WEBS. A GALLANT PERFORMANCE BY A GREAT BUNCH OF YOUNG LADS. THEY CAME FROM BEHIND 3 TIMES TO WIN THE GAME, WITH SOME GREAT FOOTBALL. THE BOYS NOW LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT ROUND, AND THE REST OF THE SEASON.WELL DONE LADS, PROUD OF YA!

Under 13s                                               Corby Warriors 15 v 0 Aztec Youth

Aztec after the last round came up against a team two divisions above them that had not lost a game since the season started and were found wanting in most departments .

Under 13s                                                              Aztec Youth 4 v 1 Ise Lodge Falcons

Dan Swinden 2 Callum Lightfoot 1 Sam Lee 1

Great performance well done to all 14 players could not ask for any more from them all . This team looked a far better side this week than last week seemed as though the boys once they score gain more confidence in themselves

Under 13s                                                     Whitworths Youth 5 v 0Aztec Youth

Aztec could not reproduce the form that they showed last week and looked second best for most of the game need to be more consistent in every game not just one game

Under 13s                                                           Aztec Youth 4 v 2 Wellingborough Grammarians

Sam Lee 2 Callum Lightfoot 1 Joshua Plowright 1

a good game of foot ball spoilt by windy conditions. both side played some good football with Aztec scoring 2 in the first half through Sam Lee and Josh Plowright. Second half Aztec played against the wind, but with some good football managed 2 more, one from Sam Lee and a well headed corner by Callum Lightfoot delivered by Sam Lee two defensive errors allowed o.gs back in the game with a well struck freekick and a penalty. aztec dug deep and managed to hold on. well done lads!

Under 13s                                                          Borough Alliance 3 v 2 Aztec Youth

John Bindley 1 Daniel Swinden 1

Aztec got what they deserved against a very determined Borough Alliance side Aztec players thought they only had to turn up to win the game and were surprised how determined their opponents were

Under 13s                                                 Aztec Youth 3 v 3 Corby Kingswood

Dan Swinden 2 John Bindley 1

A game of football hindered by the wind.this made a difference to both teams. Kingswood soon 2-0 up.aztec fought back with a determind team performance and a goal from John Bindley. After the break Kingswood scored again but with a relentless barrage of attack  from a well  organized Aztec side, Dan Swinden scored 2 to level things up.the post saved corby from defeat with what can only be described as “world class srike” from a throw in from Nadear Hussain, caught fully on the volley by Josh “kingster” King
