Under 11s Vicarage Farm 2 v 1 Aztec Youth

A tight game where Aztec had the lion’s share of chances, but could not capitalize. Reid smashed the post early on. Vicarage went down the other end and smashed in a fine goal. 1-0 at half time. Second half saw much of the same but Bates scored a thunderbolt mid way through. Aztecs looked comfortable from then on with MOM Kieran Johnson involved in every tackle, only to see VF loop a ball over the top which was slotted in. 2-1 Full time

A game where both teams had good opportunities to score, but it was Aztec that took the lead with an opportunist goal from Kieran Burgess in
his own half. To Ise Lodges credit they battled back and scored the equalizer just before the break soon after Ise Lodge took the lead Second half was much the same as first half with Ise Lodge just shading it and scored the winner, Aztec to their credit battled away until the end and some fine saves from the Ise keeper kept them just on top

Robbie Read 4 Jamie Frayne 2
Aztec got off to a flying start and scored after only 5 mins through Robbie Read .Aztec scored twice more through the same player to be 3 up after 15 mins .The game became more even with both sides playing some good football but Jamie Frayne scored just before half time to give Aztec a 4 nil lead .Second half was more even with both sides having chances Aztec scored first though Jamie Frayne .Hellenic never gave up and scored a good solo goal and then a penalty .This woke Aztec up again with Robbie Read getting his fourth

Vicarage farm started the brighter and missed a couple of oppurtunities, but it was Aztec who took the lead through Robbie Read .Aztec doubled there lead just before the break via Harvey Burton .After the break Aztec played some good football and it was no surprise to see them extend there lead again through Harvey Burton . The vicarage farm keeper had a very good game but he could not stop Aztec making it 4 -0 through Jamie Frayne. Vicarage never gave up and got a consolation just before full time

In a game spoilt by the weather conditions it was a game of two halves.Vicarage had the best of the first half but only managed one goal after some good defending by Aztec . After the break Aztec were the better and equalized through James Treanor ,they then missed a couple of chances before Robbie Reid scored to give Aztec the win
Under 11s Kettering Generals 0 v 0 Aztec Youth
In a very even game both sides played some good football with no end product .Both defenses were outstanding the closest any body got to scoring was in the first half when generals hit a post from a long range effort .Aztec shaded the game overall but could not hit the back of the net
Under 11s Aztec Youth 0 v 2 Higham Colts
A tight game where Aztec had the lion’s share of chances, but could not capitalize as the Higham keeper was in sparkling form.Higham took the lead directly from a corner kick. Aztec then pressed but just could not find the back of the net. Soon after Half time Higham doubled there tally with a fine low strike. Higham then shut up shop and defended desperately for the last period of the game

Thrapston made the better start to the game but couldn’t find away past the Aztec keeper .Aztec then got into the game and missed a couple of chances before Thrapston scored an excellent goal .Aztec started the second half better but thrapston scored again .Aztec never gave up and got a consolation goal through Robbie Read .A thoroughly entertaining game played in a good spirit

In a cracking cup tie it was Aztec that took the lead in controversial fashion with a Harvey Burton goal, this seemed to spur on Grange and they soon leveled and took the lead soon after. Second half Aztec kept on the pressure and got the reward by pulling level Grange put Aztec under pressure but Aztec replied again through Zac Anderson to take the tie

In an even first half it was Aztec who drew first blood through a well taken goal from Robbie Read. Ise then equalized 10 min later to make the score 1-1 at half time. After the break it was Aztec who started the brighter and deservedly took the lead through a Matty Davis goal. Aztec kept up the pressure and scored again through Harvey Burton. Aztec saved the best till last with a Harvey Burton volley from the edge of the area. Aztec thoroughly deserved their win and got revenge from their 3-1 defeat in the league.

A good game between 2 competitive sides, Hellenic controlled the first half with the wind, but could not score against a well disciplined Aztec back line. MOM Harvey Burton was inspiring in the back four all game. Nil nil at half time. Second half saw some fantastic football played in windy conditions. Aztec pressed and to there reward saw Zach Anderson score the opening goal with good link up play with Jamie Frayne. Hellenic to there credit stayed in the game until substitute Ryan Burton scored a well taken goal in the dying minutes again set up by Jamie Frayne.

Aztec avenged an earlier defeat with an excellent all round team performance. Robbie Read opened the scoring after only 3 minutes with a well taken goal Zach Anderson doubled the lead 10 minutes later .Higham had a couple of good chances before half time but the Aztec goal keeper was in fine form .After the break it was much the same with Aztec scoring three more times through Niall McCormack his first goal for the club, Ryan Burton and Jamie Frayne .Higham kept battling and got a deserved consolation

A game really of two halves with Corby Hellenic Youth bossing the first half and Aztec not really at the races. Hellenic pressed from the start and was rewarded with 4 goals in the first half with no real response from an uncharacteristic Aztec side. Second half (after a few choice words from the management) saw some normality as the tables were turned, Aztec pressed and hustled and was rewarded with a brace from the impressive (MOM) Robbie Read and also joint MOM Sam Tully chipped in with a brace to even affairs. In the end a fantastic save from the Hellenic keeper kept it at honors even.

This Was always going to be a very close game Thrapston making better use of the windy conditions scoring a good goal from the edge of penalty box into the top corner .The second half Aztec pressed hard but Thrapston defended well and kept them at bay
Under 11s Cup S/Final Aztec Youth 4 v 0 Hellenic Fisher
A well spirited game between two good sides. First half was nip and tuck all over the pitch but the deadlock was opened late in the half as good work from Zach Anderson opened a chance for the impressive Robbie Read, who duly knocked the ball in at the back post. Hellenic pushed and created a fantastic chance only to see Joshua Baines Davies pull off a fantastic save. 1-0 half time. Second half and Aztec played down the hill, this was a more controlled half from Aztec who at times played some breathtaking football and through this made chance after chance. 3 chances were converted by Zach Anderson, Jamie Frayne and Ryan Burton. Its well worth a mention that it was impossible to chose a MOM as Aztec had 16 players that could have got it. Well done.
