A very close game with some good football played by both sides Nicole Hadley scoring a fine goal picking the ball up just inside opposition half and avoiding three tackles to bear down on goal and rifle into the net

Under 9s Braves                                                       Aztec Braves 9 v 0 Weekley Scorpions 

Haydn Coxon 3 Regan Barrs 3 Billy Marlow 1 Cameron Hale 1

A good finish to a very good season for the braves, with some great attacking link-up play enforced and very good stout defending. On the score sheet this week was Haydn Coxon with a super hat-trick, also Regan Barrs with the other hat-trick of the game who’s goals were also finished off superbly. Billy Marlow with a very well struck free kick. And last but certainly not least Cameron Hale with a brace. in fact all of the team deserve praise to the hilt from the back to the front.

Under 9s Warriors                                                  Aztec Warriors 1 v 2 Weekley Mavericks

A well matched game from start to finish between two teams that have played each other on numerous occasions and ended up a draw. And that’s how the first half finished up 1-1 with both defences playing awesome, for Aztec those being Callum Marlow and Luke Aridegbe. The goal scorer of the first half for Aztec was Lewis Patterson who reacted to a spillage from the goalkeeper. The second saw Aztec defend for long periods going up hill. And weekley piled on the pressure and scored 5 mins before the end, Aztec though never gave in and tried to create in attack but we struggled to get numbers in the attacking third, a target man so to speak. All in all a good effort from the boys with this being there last game of the season. A big thank you for all of those involved well done.
