A very close game between two well matched teams saw Braves just come out on top .Both teams played some really good football.

Neither team seemed able to open up very tight defence which both held firm despite constant pressure from both sides forwards well dine both teams

Under 9s Braves                                                        Weekley Scorpions 1 v 10 Aztec Braves

A cinterlating display from the braves who carried on there excellent run in the campaign so far.Some great link up play from the midfield and super finishing from the forwards.On the score sheet this week were Regan barrs who showed great finishing with 5 quality strikes. The others were Cameron hale who grabbed his hat-trick and is gaining in confidence week in week out. Billy Marlow who got his first of the season. And Haydn Coxon who scored a great solo effort, from a run from the spot kick

Under 9s Warriors                                                   Aztec Warriors 0 v  0 Kingswood Swifts                                             

Another quite-ish display from the warriors, who lacked the cutting edge in front of goal. Luke Aridegbe was solid at the back covering behind his partner and clearing his lines superbly. Jack Gracey also had a good game using plenty of energy to make things happen. In a nut shell we just lacked a bit of discipline at times, shape and being first to claim the ball, out of forward positions

Under 10s Braves                                                 Kettering Generals 0 v 2 Aztec Braves

The first half saw Aztec play some great football and they soon got their reward with Dan Ashpole putting the braves in the lead, Aztec doubled their lead five minutes later through Brad Forde. The second half saw Aztec lose their way a little but they battled hard to keep a clean sheet and get the deserved win.

Under 10s Warriors                                            Ise Lodge Kestrels 0 v 4 Aztec Warriors

A game which Warriors dominated today from start to finish. Some brilliant individual and team play saw Aztec go into the break 3–0 up. The second half saw Ise Lodge get more into the game, some good defending kept the score low with Aztec only managing to get 1 goal in the second half. A good team performance and a well deserved win.

Under 11s                                                             Aztec Youth 0 v 2 Higham Colts

A tight game where Aztec had the lion’s share of chances, but could not capitalize as the Higham keeper was in sparkling form.Higham took the lead directly from a corner kick. Aztec then pressed but just could not find the back of the net. Soon after Half time Higham doubled there tally with a fine low strike. Higham then shut up shop and defended desperately for the last period of the game

Under 12s Braves                                               Ise Lodge 0 v 3 Aztec Braves

James Denton 2 Alex Forward 1

The two teams went stride for stride from the off but it was Aztec that created a decent chance via effort that was coolly finished by James Denton. Within 5 mins the ball fell to Alex Forward who also clinically finished.  After half time Ise Lodge turned the screw and Aztec were tested but the team held strong and were rewarded when the prolific James Denton scored again.

Scott Mackenzie 2 Wesley Kirton 1

A good contest with both teams looking to get their first win of the season. Aztec took the lead  in the first minute through an on form Wesley Kirkton and Falcons then drew level with a looping shot that caught out Aztecs keeper in the high wind. Scott Mackenzie then added two more goals in the second half, although Falcons had the final say with an injury time goal to make the final score 3-2.

Aztec seem to let their heads drop as soon as they go a goal behind need to concentrate a lot more as things will be hard again this season for them

Under 14s                                                      Kettereing Generals Red 0 v 1 Aztec Youth

A very close game with neither side giving much ground and defenses seem to hold out for most of the game Aztec getting a chance and taking it with a good goal from Jack World

Under 15s                                                    Aztec Youth 0 v 3 Kettering Generals

a game that was not as one sided as the scoreline reflected it was Generals who came away with the victory .  The visitors lead1-0 at the break after a defensive slip and that was the way it stayed with the hosts again struggling to find the net amongst all the possession they held Generals seemed to want the game more than the hosts .

Under 16s                                                   Rushden Rangers 0 v 4 Aztec Youth

Kyle Locklin 3 Haden Eames 1

A early kick off seemed to suit the Aztec team more the their hosts as the came away with a good victory and played some good football leading up to the goals with Kyle Locklin looking sharp in front of goal.

Under 18s                                                 Aztec Youth 5 v 4 Northampton Vampires

This was a game that ebbed and flowed with both teams creating chances and scoring them the Aztec defense had to be alert all of the game which they did well and managed to keep Vampires at bay to secure another fine win
