Braves found the going hard in their first game ,against a good Ise Lodge side the score was irrelevant as the boys enjoyed the game and showed good character to keep battling away to find a breakthrough

Alex Goodyear 1
A good performance from Warriors who looked a good match for Ise Hawks both teams played some very good football and both a credit to their clubs
Under 9s Braves Thrapston Blue 0 v 3 Aztec Braves

Under 10s Braves Weekley Milan 1 v 2 Aztec Braves
Mark Butler 1 Connor York 1
FC Aztec got off to a bright start although Weekley managed to break and score the first goal of the match. Aztec picked themselves up from the restart and pulled one back to go into half time with the scores level. With a lot of hard battling in the second half, Aztec scored the winning goal.
Under 10s Warriors
Reece Martin 1
Warriors started slowly and soon found themselves 1-0 down. They picked themselves up and Reece Martin picked up a nice through ball to net the equalizer. Warriors went 2-1 up when a Weekley defender headed home. Weekley quickly equalized to make it 2-2 at half time. The second half saw Aztec tire very quickly and Weekley took advantage of this, with constant pressure Aztec scored two own goals.
Under 12s Braves Kingswood Kestrels 1 v 5 Aztec Braves
James Denton 3 Alex Forward 1 Andrew Elliott 1
Aztec started strongly and quickly took the lead through James Denton. Andrew Elliot added a second before a Kingswood break ended in a goal for 2-1 at half time. Two further goals from James Denton to complete his hat trick and one from League debutant Alex Forward made it comfortable at the end. However the Kingswood goalkeeper had a great game with some solid goalkeeping
Under 12s Warriors Aztec Warriors 1 v 3 Kingswood Ospreys
Scott McKenzie 1
A good competitive game played in the right spirit by both teams. Aztec fell behind to an early goal but soon drew level with a well taken goal by Scott McKenzie. From then on they created plenty of chances but paid for not putting them away. Two defensive lapses gave Kingswood the goals they needed to win. Overall a good performance with many players getting their competitive debut.
Under 14s Rockingham Forest 4 v 1 Aztec Youth
Elliott Burnham 1
Aztecs came up against their bogey side of last season and could not get a win against them as of yet ,some good football played by both teams with Rockingham just a little sharper in attack
Under 15s Aztec Youth 2 v 5 Higham Colts
James McLaren 1 Ellis Rayson 1
Aztec took the lead midway through the 1st half with a superb long range effort from James Mclaren who played his heart out throughout the game, but it was the visitors who lead at the break 2-1.The home side leveled early on in the second half with a shot from Ellis Rayson but it was not to be their day Higham leveling soon after and then streaking into a 5-2 lead. The scoreline only kept down with a man of the match display from defender Craig Finnegan and some great saves from substitute keeper Charlie Hill
