Aztec girls are gradually realizing how much effort is needed to play football .The hard work on the training pitch is beginning to pay off .The whole team battled hard creating more chances scoring from a fine solo run around a stranded keeper by Nicole Hadley who had a shot hit the post in the first half .A great squad of girls who are strengthening week after week . Well done keep it up.

Under 8s  Braves                                                     Aztec Braves 7 v 0 Kettering Tigers

Braves looked a lot sharper all over the pitch than Tigers and played some good football leading up to the goals

Under 8s Warriors                                                  Aztec Warriors 0 v 6 Generals White   

Warriors are still searching for a decent win as they battle hard each week but never seem to come out on top

Another fine display from the braves ,with some impressive passing and moving .

Emotions ran high today in this Aztec Derby, Braves got off to the better start but it was the Warriors that took the lead after finding their feet. The second half saw the Braves race out of the traps and score straight away from the restart but it wasn’t level for long as the Warriors soon got their advantage back thru Dan Hill. The braves wouldn’t lie down and bounced back with another equalizer. Great Game and a Fair Result

A very passionate game with no quarter given by either side some very hard but fair tackles going in from both sides                                                                                       

Under 13s                                                                Aztec Youth 2 v 12 Wellingborough Town

Aztec took an early lead with a well taken goal from Josh Plowright, and looked the stronger side but Wellingborough were soon level and things went there way after that Aztec had chances to score but didn’t take them, Dan Swinden scored minutes from the end but this was just too little too late.                                                 

Under 14s                                                              Aztec Youth 8 v 1 Northborough Juniors (N.F.A. Youth Cup)

Aztec dominated the game from the off with some good football being played, although Northborough did not let things go Aztecs way for  all of the game .Spoilt by a nasty instance near the end when a player from each side had to be dismissed

Under 16s                                                             Aztec Youth 4 v 3 Northampton Queens Park

Aztec took the lead in the first minute of the game and soon doubled the score and had Queens Park on the back foot ,Queens Park scored just before the break making it 2-1 Aztec added again only for Queens Park to pull another back making it 3-2 Aztec had a pen to make it 4-2 but Queens P ark would not lie down and pulled another goal back to make it a tense finish                                                 

Under 18s                                                              Aztec Youth 15 v 1 Brackley Sports

Aztec took the lead in the first 2 minutes and it was all one way traffic from then on, the Brackley goalkeeper stopped it from being an even bigger margin of victory with some very good saves
